SAP ERP FICO Specialist
(Focus on Treasury)

Place of Work: Sittard/GeleenOur Client is seeking a suitable SAP ERP Specialist within the ICT department.
The SAP ERP specialist will primarily be responsible for and working in SAP maintenance in the area of FICO & Treasury supporting the business units SHPP, Polyolefin, Chemicals & Intermediates and Innovative Plastics for the region Europe running in a global environment.
The Business units have dealings with 10 sales offices and 8 local warehouses (Hubs) spread over Europe with production locations in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the Middle East (Partly Global).

For SHPP System landscape, we are providing Global support and for FANAR system support for European countries. Close cooperation with Center of Excellence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and India is required.
Due to the international way of working, fluent in English both verbal and written is a must.
•    The ERP specialist is required to have in depth knowledge in FICO and Treasury modules.
•    As there can be an overlap with other SAP modules, for example SD, LE, MM, PS, the ERP Specialist needs to have a high-level knowledge of integration with these modules.
•    Main tasks shall further include: SAP run &n maintain activities such as Incident and Change Management. Analyzing structural issues, customizing, prepare customizing and functional design documents, unit testing, regression testing, upgrade related activities, month & year-end closing activities.
•    On an operational level, he will advise the power user in standardizing the business processes. The ERP Specialist will align with colleagues within his team and other functional teams and technical teams, in both Europe and KSA (Partly Global), and with the user organization.
The ERP Specialist will have the opportunity to study and gather the knowledge of the company processes.
•    The ERP Specialist is experienced in advising the organization and executing improvement assignments independently and therefore needs good communicational skills and acts customer oriented.
•    Reports hierarchically to Senior Manager ERP Services Europe

To fulfill the above function the appropriate candidate should have the following requirements:

•    Dutch Professional Bachelor (HBO) degree, with an ICT/financial background
•    In depth knowledge of SAP FICO and a broad experience with other SAP modules (for instance: SD, LE, MM, PS)
•    In depth knowledge of Treasury.
•    Good communication skills in Dutch/English
•    Flexible and creative team player
•    Must be proactive and be able to function independently
•    Must be able to work with tight deadlines
•    Very good knowledge of business processes, that in case of emergency also suitable workaround can be provided
