What’s your job?
In this position as a Social Media Specialist you are responsible for the social media strategy, campaigns and other social content. You will be part of the Digital Marketing Operations department and will have a key position in our marketing team regarding Social Media.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be the go to person for the questions that the sectors within the organization have regarding Social Media. Transforming those questions in clear social media advice.
You will help your marketing colleagues understand Social Media and build on their knowledge of Social Media.
You are constantly aware of social media developments, opportunities and trends and know how to apply them. You will also analyse the statistics of our channels and report the results to the different functions in order to devise new strategies.
You will be working closely with the Corporate Communications & Public Affairs team, Marketing, External Relations, HR and other functions within our organization.
What will you be doing?
- Monitor sentiment and what others say about us and make it part of your strategy on how to improve sentiment and advise functions.
- Ownership of our (social) listening tool Talkwalker
- Manage and help find the insights from Talkwalker for the different sectors
- Ownership of our planning tool Hootsuite
- Manage the content calendar for LinkedIn
- Manage daily monitoring of social media content and escalation within the business
- Live and breathe our brand voice and style guide
- Inspiration and sharing new regarding the different channels.
- Collaborate closely with our Digital Marketing team to further optimize content and social commerce
- Conduct regular and thorough analysis of content and campaigns
- Compile monthly reports summarizing performances
Requirements
- You have Bachelor or Master’s degree (e.g. communications, marketing)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media at an international organization
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing in general
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite and Talkwalker or other social listening tools
- You should be fluent in both Dutch and British English, use correct grammar and be able to correct faulty Dutch and English language
