Description
In line with organizations refreshed business strategy, the HR Function has initiated a programme to deliver an improved and more affordable HR contribution to the business and employee/line manager experience. This includes an HR Transformation programme to deliver a new HR IT platform leveraging Workday Cloud-based SaaS technology and migrate away from on-premise SAP HR solution. Implementation of a global core of the new IT solution is already underway, with deployments planned in April and October 2020. The strategic roadmap for implementation of the remaining functionality relating to HR payroll, compensation, remuneration, benefits, performance management and time & absence is currently being finalised for implementation in subsequent releases. This requirement is for a PMO to take the lead in supporting the development of the strategic roadmap and the subsequent transition into the implementation phase. The PMO will liaise closely with the PMOs supporting the individual workstreams of the strategic roadmap, as well as the Programme PMO.
Summary of Requirements
– Solid PM/PMO skills essential. Particularly Project Planning and Tracking; Also Project Progress Reporting, Change Request Management etc.
– Advanced MsOffice (Powerpoint, Excel, MsWord). MsProject nice-to-have.
– Familiarity with HR, HR processes, HR IT Projects (SAP HR, Workday) an advantage

Key Skills & Competences Required
– Highly organized, possessing strong analytical abilities and able to take the initiative
– Plan, track and report on project activities
– Prepare management information for senior stakeholders, working with project team members to gather and understand content
– Organise and facilitate team meetings and workshops, intervening with confidence to guide the team and the workstream PMOs
– Proven ability to work in a virtual environment – in a team and with project stakeholders
– English (written and verbal good).
– Project Management or PMO experience in a this setting
– Familiarity with organizations specific or external project management methodologies (e.g. Project Delivery Framework), templates, tools and assurance processes.
– Familiarity with and confidence in liaising with a broad range of HR and IT stakeholders including 3rd party providers, and with end-to-end HR and/or IT operational delivery models
– Formal project management accreditation (PMI-PMP or Prince 2)
